Best Natural Antibiotic ever is something you can call this Golden Milk. It is an anti-inflammatory drink that I love to have before bed time. You can also have this anytime during the day. I prefer to have it before going to bed because I find it really soothing.
First ingredient you need is cup of milk. I use normal milk in this recipe. But, you can use almond milk or any nut based milk or coconut milk that fits your dietary preference.
I use fresh ginger in this recipe. You can also use dry ginger powder.
It’s quite important that you only use organic turmeric powder to get the full benefits of curcumin. I also use srilankan rolled cinnamon which is quite safe for consuming daily.
The reason I use black pepper is because there is something called as Synergy in foods. Some foods work better with another food. For example turmeric alone will not be absorbed into your blood stream. Black pepper has an active component called piperine. Piperine boosts the bio availability of curcumin, which is the active component that does the magic of turmeric into your system.
Black pepper is not just for turmeric absorption, it also helps us with nausea, headaches, digestion and so many other things.
Cold pressed Coconut Oil will help the body absorb turmeric because curcumin is fat soluble. If you are using full fat milk then you don’t have to add this, as the milk already has the necessary fat. But if you are lactose intolerant and you are using a different nut based milk or plant based milk, then add a tbsp of cold pressed coconut oil to absorb turmeric.

Top Tip
Let the golden milk cool down a little bit before you add the raw honey. The reason being, the heat will kill the anti-oxidant properties of the raw honey.
