Nutmeg Porridge For a Good Night’s Sleep – Insomnia Natural Remedy

You Can Say Goodbye to Insomnia. You can cure Insomnia by eating this therapeutic nutmeg porridge. It also reduces Stress & Anxiety. This food is filled with B vitamins, it helps to get rid of insomnia and is used in ayurveda to treat stress and anxiety.

Stress is the main reason why we don’t get sleep at nights. We get stressed out at work and with kids. There are so many things; there are external factors which influence our stress levels too. Sometimes we just lie down there in the bed watching the ceiling. We feel really sleepy but we can’t fall asleep. Imagine how frustrating it is, we have all been there at some point or another.

The recipe that I am going to show you, reduces your stress levels and anxiety, and it helps you fall asleep much quicker. And you will also get a deep sleep.

I am making this quantity for 2 people, so you can adjust the quantity if you are making it just for yourself.

Ingredients:

  • Finger Millet Flour – 1 Cup
  • Rice Flour – 1/4 Cup
  • Nutmeg Powder – 10 g
  • Roasted Gram – 1 TBSP
  • Palm Sugar – 1 TBSP

Method:

  • Mix the finger millet flour, rice flour and green gram flour.
  • Powder the roasted gram coarsely in a mortar and pestle and add it to the flour mix.
  • Mix it with 1/2 litre of water. If there are any lumps then mix it using your hand. Because once we start heating, it will be hard to break the lumps. These 3 combination of flours increase our B vitamin levels, which is quite important to treat anxiety and stress.
  • Now once you have broken all the lumps and mixed it thoroughly, add palm sugar.
  • Once you have switched off the flame, add nutmeg powder.
  • Once you have switched off the flame, add nutmeg powder.

Nutmeg is a powerful Ayurvedic spice that works as an excellent insomnia remedy and de-stresser. It is also an anti-depressant, it increases your Seratonin levels, that is the happy hormone. This nutmeg porridge regulates your sleep cycles for better sleep.

You can take this porridge for your dinner. You will have a peaceful, great night’s sleep.
