Remove Sun Tan with Ubtan Face Mask

posted in: Natural Skin, Skin & Beauty | 1

I would love to share with you my summer skin care routine to treat sun burns and remove sun tan. We go out in harsh sun, especially during summer months, it gets very hot. As a family we love to spend time in the Sun whenever we can. That’s the great way to get natural vitamin D in your body.

But my skin is very sensitie, it would burn and start peeling everywhere. This UBTAN Face Mask that I am going to show you saves me from the evil effects of sun, it removes sun tan, it treates severe sun burns, its 100% natural and it makes a big part of my summer skin care routine.

This is a body scrub. It exfoliates, moisturises, hydrates and it heals your skin. You need to remove your makeup before applying this Sun tan removal face pack.

How do you remove make up?

We use make up everyday these days. When you wash your makeup with soap, it doesn’t wash off. The makeup will still be there. You have pores in your skin for breathing, but makeup clogs it up. So you get dry skin, irritation and pimples. I will tell you my makeup removing routine. Organic coconut oil works best to clean your skin.

Just take a few drops of organic coconut oil and apply it on your face and leave it for a few minutes. Just take a moist hand towel, I usually put that in hot water. And once its moist, just sort of rub it on your skin gently in circles, it exfoliates and hydrates at the same time. That just takes off all your make up. Your facial skin pores will say, hahh Thank You.

Which Yogurt is the best?

I will be using Non flavored, plain yogurt in this face mask. You need full fat yogurt. Full fat yogurt works the best for this face mask, but if you have oily skin or acne prone skin, then go for non-fat yogurt.

So here goes the recipe for my Ubtan Face Mask.

Ingredients:

  • Gram Flour – 1 Cup
  • Yogurt – Just enough to make a paste
  • Lemon – Half

Now the magic ingredients 🙂

  • Sandal wood powder – 1/2 Tsp
  • Rose water – 2 Tsp
  • Turmeric Powder – a pinch

Directions:

  • Mix the ingredients to form a paste.
  • Just put a little bit at the back of your hand and see if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Hang out a little bit, let it dry.
  • If you have oily skin, then you can use non fat yogurt. Only if you have oily skin. Otherwise full fat yogurt is the best thing for your skin.
  • Apply it on your face, neck and elbows.
  • Once the face mask is dry just rub it in circles to remove it. It crumbles and comes off. And another benefit is, this rubbing process takes the fine hair off from your face.

I hope this DIY FACE MASK works for your sun tan and sun burn, it really does work for me.
